Our Story
PCO was founded on a clear observation: the industry was divided.
On one side, architecture is driven by form and expression. On the other, engineering is defined by precision and technicality. Both delivered value, but rarely together.
PCO was built to close that gap.
From the beginning, the firm adopted a multidisciplinary approach that integrates architectural vision with engineering rigor, treating design, performance, and functionality as one system, not separate disciplines.
What started as a team of five engineers has grown into a practice of over 150 professionals, delivering complex projects across Egypt and international markets. This growth reflects more than scale; it reflects a consistent way of thinking.

When I reflect on the journey of PCO, I don’t think only about projects delivered or markets entered—I think about how our understanding of the built environment has evolved.
I have always believed that buildings are not static objects. They are living systems. They shape how people move, interact, and experience space. And over time, they either adapt and perform—or they fail to do so. This belief has fundamentally shaped how we approach our work.
From the beginning, it was clear to me that design could not exist in isolation. Architecture without engineering lacks grounding, and engineering without vision lacks purpose. The real value lies in bringing both together—early, intentionally, and without compromise.
As PCO has grown beyond Egypt into regional and international markets, this way of thinking has only become more critical.
Different contexts, regulations, and project scales demand more than design capability—they require clarity, coordination, and the ability to make decisions that hold their value over time.
Today, we approach every project with a broader responsibility. Not only to design, but to ensure that what we create performs—commercially, technically, and experientially.
